Requirements
Must:
- Over 3 years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing data security solutions
- Familiarity with data security tools, specifically Virtru
- Experience with data-centric security frameworks, including ongoing maintenance
- Background in designing, deploying, configuring, operating, or evaluating IT systems or security infrastructure
- Knowledge of Data Loss Prevention (DLP) tools, such as Trellix, Cisco Email Security Appliance, and Splunk
- Understanding of Zero Trust principles and their respective solutions
- Capability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelors degree
- Certification in Security+
Responsibilities
- Design and implement innovative data solutions to enhance the storage, access, and security of mission-critical information while ensuring smooth collaboration
- Use tools like Varonis and Trellix to strengthen zero trust data security through sophisticated access controls, threat detection, and risk management
- Develop comprehensive governance frameworks using platforms like BigID, Collibra, and Ohalo for data classification and tracking compliance with regulations, such as GDPR, CCPA, and FEDRAMP
- Incorporate solutions like Virtru to enforce end-to-end encryption, securing data at rest and during transmission
- Modernize outdated pipelines to create cloud-native architectures that accommodate real-time decision-making and advanced analytics
- Provide strategic leadership by crafting architecture roadmaps, producing design documentation, and mentoring junior engineers to equip the team for future challenges
