Requirements
Must:
- Over 5 years of experience in designing, configuring, and managing enterprise applications within cloud environments
- Proven expertise in development with .NET, Entity Framework, and SQL for over 5 years
- Experience in architecting and deploying solutions in AWS and hybrid cloud settings
- Knowledge in creating secure cloud-based architectures and compliance with engineering and cloud governance standards
- Familiarity with Gen-AI tools like GitHub Copilot, Codex, or Claude Code
- Proficiency in deploying and troubleshooting IaaS platforms and UNIX or Linux systems, including shell scripting
- Understanding of CI/CD processes and automation tools such as GitHub Actions
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams effectively
- Capability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client specifications
- High School diploma or GED required
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and execution of secure, scalable, and modern cloud solutions aligned with public health data modernization initiatives
- Drive the implementation of innovative cloud technologies to enhance client environments
- Collaborate with engineers, product teams, and data modernization stakeholders to guide strategy and design
- Ensure adherence to established standards throughout the implementation and delivery phases
- Recommend tools and solutions based on an assessment of the current environment and knowledge of various on-premise, cloud-based, and hybrid resources
- Facilitate team efforts to help clients tackle their most pressing challenges in the cloud
- Expand personal expertise in automation, cloud security, and contemporary DevOps practices while improving national public health outcomes
