Requirements
Must:
- Over 3 years of experience with Python, utilizing various services to create complex solutions on AWS or Azure
- At least 2 years of experience in roles involving customer-facing technical support or customer success
- Proficiency with AWS or Azure services, Git, and IT systems engineering or administration, including Linux and Windows
- Experience in implementing automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices for streamlined deployments, provisioning, and configuration management
- Familiarity with evaluating and recommending cloud services, tools, and technologies for enhancing efficiency and system capabilities, including documenting solutions and maintaining customer-facing documentation
- Understanding of incident management, protocol for escalations, SLA compliance, and customer support tools like ServiceNow, Zendesk, or Jira Service Management
- Knowledge of multi-account or multi-tenant architectures
- Ability to juggle multiple customer support cases effectively while ensuring high-quality service, explaining technical concepts to both tech-savvy and non-technical individuals, and remaining composed under pressure
- Bachelors degree required
- Certification as an AWS Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer is preferred
Responsibilities
- Contribute to automation and infrastructure enhancements guided by customer feedback and support trends
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices for efficient deployments, provisioning, and configuration management
- Assess and recommend cloud services and tools to enhance efficiency and system capabilities
- Develop and sustain cloud infrastructure solutions utilizing AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform services
- Respond to customer support inquiries and technical tickets within designated service level agreements (SLAs)
- Diagnose and resolve issues reported by customers, from simple configuration challenges to complex system failures
- Collaborate with customers to grasp their needs and offer technical guidance
- Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base articles
- Monitor system performance and proactively detect potential issues before customer impact occurs
- Participate in on-call rotations for urgent customer support escalations
