Requirements
Must:
- Over 7 years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining systems in secure enterprise-scale environments using Linux and Microsoft platforms
- At least 3 years of experience in DevOps and cloud engineering utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform with tools like Terraform or CloudFormation, including hands-on work in Google Cloud Platform
- Minimum of 3 years in operational support roles encompassing system monitoring, incident response, configuration of logging or metrics, and troubleshooting cloud workloads
- Proficient in programming with Golang, Python, SQL, Scala, or Java for at least 2 years
- Experience in developing CI/CD pipelines for building, testing, and deploying applications and infrastructure
- Knowledge of networking principles, including DNS, routing, switching, and load balancing
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes or Docker and Helm charts
- Active Secret clearance
- High School diploma or GED with a minimum of 8 years of software engineering experience, or a Bachelors degree with at least 4 years of this experience
- Capability to obtain DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification within 30 days of start date
Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud solutions to enhance security and performance in various environments
- Develop and automate software solutions using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cloud services and tools effectively
- Manage operational support activities, ensuring system stability and performance monitoring
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud workloads
- Write code and scripts for automating processes and improving system functionalities
- Maintain documentation on cloud infrastructure and operating methodologies
- Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate best practices into our workflows
