Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in artificial intelligence, data science, machine learning engineering, software engineering, data research, or data analytics
- Background in software development or engineering in an academic or professional setting
- Familiarity with big data technologies, including Spark, Hadoop, or Databricks
- Proficiency in programming languages like Python, C#, or Java
- Capacity to develop solutions in a collaborative, cross-disciplinary team
- Skills in creating scripts and programs to convert diverse data types into usable formats, and support the team in scaling, monitoring, and managing data platforms
- Eligibility to obtain a Secret clearance
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field
Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust AI solution architectures using a variety of AI methodologies to meet Marine Corps operational requirements
- Utilize advanced technical knowledge to create innovative solutions to complex challenges
- Operate independently with minimal guidance
- Mentor and supervise team members when necessary
- Guide the selection of appropriate machine learning algorithms and technologies for critical solutions
- Assist clients in navigating the landscape of machine learning algorithms, tools, and frameworks
