Requirements

Must:
We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications: - A minimum of 5 years of experience supporting Information Technology (IT) operations. - Experience creating security baselines using CIS and STIG benchmarks. - Experience developing security baselines from scratch with vendor documentation. - Proficiency in modifying CIS and STIG benchmarks to align with organizational requirements. - Familiarity with NIST 800 Special Publication series guidance for risk management and security control implementation (including 800-30, 800-37, 800-53, 800-60, 800-63, 800-115, or 800-137). - Experience in reviewing, developing, or customizing security configuration baselines. - Knowledge of the National Vulnerability Database (NVD) and Common Vulnerability Enumeration (CVE). - Ability to translate low-level security baseline requirements into high-level FISMA and NIST requirements, as well as client-specific security needs. - Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements. - A high school diploma or GED is required.

In this role, you will: - Develop and implement security solutions that align with our security strategy. - Stay informed about market and technology trends to deliver best-in-class solutions to our clients. - Apply innovative principles, theories, and concepts while contributing to the development of new strategies. - Solve complex problems creatively and operate with a significant degree of autonomy in decision-making. - Mentor or supervise team members in both technical and company-related competencies. - Collaborate closely with government stakeholders to understand the vision and direction of the information technology program, breaking down architectures and associated use cases into manageable components from a cybersecurity perspective. - Assess proposed and existing architectures to identify security risks and recommend solutions for risk mitigation.

The projected compensation range for this position is between $99,000.00 and $225,000.00 annually. This range represents the typical salary for the position and is just one aspect of our total compensation package.
