Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree or higher from an accredited institution in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry.
- Over 3 years of development experience with Unreal Engine using blueprints.
- More than 3 years of development experience with C/C++ programming languages.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with Unreal Motion Graphics UI Designer (UMG).
- At least 2 years of experience in developing VR applications for engineering purposes.
- Proven experience in application development and performance optimization.
- Strong knowledge and experience with Unreal Engine.
- Familiarity with Unreal Blueprints for application development.
- Experience in creating applications for Desktop and VR interfaces.
- Understanding of testing protocols and practices based on customer requirements.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple concurrent projects with effective communication skills.
- Awareness of Boeing technology platforms and tools.
Responsibilities
- Design, document, and sustain architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs for software systems.
- Update and modify simulation code for integrating software components into a fully functional system.
- Create software verification plans, develop test procedures and environments, execute these procedures, and document the outcomes to ensure compliance with software system requirements.
- Conduct software project management and supplier management functions as required.
- Develop, select, customize, and implement software processes, tools, and metrics.
- Execute and record software research and development initiatives.
- Monitor and assess team and supplier performance to guarantee adherence to project plans and industry standards.
- Operate under general supervision with the possibility of additional program support or other assigned duties as needed.
- Availability to work on-site five days a week.
