Requirements
Must:
- Minimum 2 years of experience with data fusion engines, kinematic correlation techniques, and Kalman filters
- Proficiency in pattern recognition, multi-modal sensor data fusion, sensor calibration, and visualization technologies
- 2 years of experience with sensors, sensor management and fusion, datalinks, and/or weapon systems interactions
- Bachelors degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science preferred
- Background in data fusion analysis and software development
- Strong self-starter mentality with positive attitude and high ethical standards
- Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving abilities, capable of thriving under pressure
- Experience with sensor data, such as radar and various infrared sensors
- Capability to develop and implement probabilistic models for sensor data integration, including Bayesian reasoning and Kalman filtering
- Familiarity with advanced probability statistics in practical scenarios
Responsibilities
- Develop and quantify algorithms and methods for data fusion
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including requirements and algorithm analysis memos (AAMs)
- Evaluate data fusion techniques for precision and effectiveness
- Design and develop prototype algorithms using C++, Python, or MATLAB
- Collaborate with software architects to ensure efficient algorithm design and implementation
- Gather, organize, and analyze data; summarize insights and formulate recommendations based on relevant data sources
- Work closely with clients to define and develop requirements
