Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 2 years of engineering experience
- Knowledge and experience in systems engineering, including systems architecture, requirement development, integration, verification, and validation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of swiftly identifying and addressing engineering processes across various functional teams
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, effective in collaborating with diverse teams and leadership
- Willingness to embrace new concepts and encourage innovative thinking among team members
- (Preferred) Over 9 years of engineering experience
- (Preferred) Familiarity with airplane systems design
- (Preferred) Understanding of airplane performance and handling quality characteristics
- (Preferred) Experience in project management
- (Preferred) Background in large-scale simulation, airplane flight dynamics, or commercial flight training
- (Preferred) Proficiency with PSIM, Pegasus, ADAPT, ASDIS/FrameMaker software on Windows and/or UNIX platforms
- Must meet Companys Conflict of Interest assessment requirements
Responsibilities
- Provide assistance for engineering and training simulations, coordinating and resolving technical challenges
- Conduct final checks of integrated engineering flight simulations before approval
- Support integrated proof-of-match (IPOM) activities by running simulations to verify model integration and accuracy against flight test data
- Help coordinate simulation release requirements and timelines, with the opportunity to lead cross-functional teams
- Produce data documentation, including Integrated Validation Data, IPOM, and Validation Data Roadmap (VDR) documents to aid customer airlines training simulators
