Requirements
Must:
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited institution in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
- Entry Level (Level 1): Bachelors degree or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
- Associate Level (Level 2): typically 2 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experienced Level (Level 3): typically 5 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Background or experience in signal processing.
Responsibilities
- Design and create next-generation RF, digital, and optical satellite communication systems.
- Develop and validate multi-rate, fixed-point digital signal processing frameworks.
- Allocate, define, and validate requirements and interfaces in the development of digital communication payloads.
- Create performance and link budgets.
- Perform performance analyses of signal processing models.
- Assist in the execution of trade studies.
- Develop prototype demonstrations using flight-like communication subsystem testbeds.
- Support unit-level integration and performance simulations.
- Assist in ASIC and FPGA level system design and verification.
- Aid in hardware procurement, design evaluations, and unit sell-offs.
