Requirements
Must:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or equivalent directly related qualifications
- 2 or more years of relevant engineering experience
- Active U.S. Security Clearance (preferred)
- Prior Systems Engineering experience (system design, functional decomposition, requirements development, analysis, verification, and validation) (preferred)
- Experience with Aircraft, Mission Systems, and/or Weapon System development (preferred)
- Familiarity with verification and/or certification efforts (supporting military safety critical and/or mission critical system hardware and software certification) (preferred)
- Ability to collaborate with multi-discipline teams for technical program reviews (preferred)
- Proficiency with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools, such as Cameo or SysML-compatible tools (preferred)
- Technical knowledge and experience with tools such as DOORS, Python, C#, C++, JavaScript, Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, Git, and others (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Contribute to systems engineering activities for new development, production, and sustainment projects, ensuring alignment with program objectives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain up-to-date system requirements, interfaces, verification, and testing criteria
- Conduct analyses focusing on affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, human factors, survivability, and product assurance
- Assist in program design reviews and technical assessments
- Monitor and update requirements, risks, issues, opportunities, tools, and technology readiness status
- Promote the adoption of modern systems engineering methods, such as Model-Based Systems Engineering
