Requirements
Must:
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience or an equivalent blend of technical education and experience with at least 2 years as a Tactical Coordinator or Co-Tactical Coordinator on a P-8 aircraft.
- Education/experience typically attained through advanced technical education from an accredited institution in fields such as engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry. ABET accreditation is preferred, but not mandatory.
- Preferred: 8 years of relevant experience or equivalent education and experience.
- Preferred: 3+ years of experience as a Tactical Coordinator or Co-Tactical Coordinator on a P-8 aircraft.
- Experience working in a laboratory setting.
- Familiarity with Software Trouble Reports and Agile Software Development principles.
- Weapons school experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with the Advanced Airborne Sensor (AAS).
- Current DoD Secret or higher security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Develop testing procedures for P-8 Mission Systems scenarios to be conducted in our Weapons Systems Integration Lab or International Systems Integration Lab.
- Execute P-8 Mission Systems scenario test procedures as the Tactical Coordinator in our labs.
- Identify and document any defects in Mission Systems software or avionics suite, specifically noting non-compliance with software requirements or usability issues.
- Assist in systems-level integration and testing of P-8 Mission Systems and avionics.
- Collaborate with the Mission Systems software development team to offer insights on integrating new functional capabilities or rectifying defects.
