Requirements
Must:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or equivalent qualifications related to the work statement
- Over 5 years of experience in software engineering, systems engineering, simulation integration, or avionics integration
- Proficient in technical writing and verbal communication with experience producing documents like ICDs, test plans, and after action reviews
- Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time, mainly within the country but possibly overseas
Responsibilities
- Act as the principal technical lead for program-level Distributed Mission Operations (DMO) activities and facilitate cross-team collaboration with Boeing programs, contractors, and US Government representatives
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of system architecture and capabilities to decompose system-level requirements, particularly for software
- Create and maintain DMO architecture documentation, including system configurations, federate test plans, test procedures, and test reports
- Plan and conduct system tests to validate system functionality, as well as investigate and resolve system anomalies
- Provide on-site and remote support as the technical point of contact, including conducting real-time troubleshooting during training and testing events
- Support software configuration management across multiple distributed locations
- Understand US Government classified computer security operations by translating security classification guidelines into system requirements and test plans
- Mentor junior engineers and manage external vendor integrations along with third-party services
- Produce clear engineering documentation, such as test plans, reports, and presentations for stakeholders and leadership
