Requirements
Must:
- 15 years of overall professional experience
- 5 years of experience in software architecture, specifically focusing on cloud-based solutions and DevOps practices
- 10 years of experience leading software teams and/or projects
- 10 years of experience with automated provisioning and configuring of software-defined infrastructure with a focus on continuous deployment and operations
- Demonstrated experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
- Solid understanding of CI/CD tools such as GitLab and Jenkins, as well as automation frameworks and infrastructure as code (IaC) principles
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science (preferred)
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Experience in industrial engineering or process optimization (highly desirable)
- AWS or Azure GovCloud Security certification (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient cloud architectures that support business goals and improve operational capabilities
- Lead the transition from on-premises solutions to cloud-based systems
- Develop a comprehensive DevOps strategy, including CI/CD pipelines, automation, and monitoring to enhance software delivery and deployment frequencies
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams including development, operations, and product management to align on project objectives and deliverables
- Analyze current systems and processes using industrial engineering principles to identify opportunities for optimization and waste reduction
- Define, collect, analyze, and refine Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics to ensure ongoing improvement and accountability in software delivery
- Provide technical mentorship to engineering teams, promoting a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
- Document and disseminate best practices for software development, deployment, and operations to ensure consistency and quality
- Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, present architectural designs, and deliver updates on project status
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in cloud computing and DevOps to enhance our solutions
