Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors Degree - Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance, requiring U.S. Citizenship - Over 2 years of experience with the Software Development Lifecycle, including Requirements Analysis, Design, Code, Integration & Test - More than 2 years of experience in Object-Oriented development - 2+ years of experience working with agile teams and agile development methodologies - Familiarity with modeling and simulation tools relevant to the industry - Experience in developing or integrating simulation software for military, commercial, or space applications - Knowledge of aircraft platforms, aviation, simulation, and training systems - Understanding of simulation validation and verification processes - Proficiency with agile workflow tools such as Gitlab - Experience in a collaborative team environment

- Contribute to the design and architecture of simulation models and virtual environments - Collaborate with stakeholders to assess simulation requirements and understand system dynamics - Carry out validation, verification, and refinement of simulation software, including test procedure documentation - Maintain detailed records of technical code and documentation for simulation models - Work alongside cross-functional engineering teams to integrate simulation software with hardware systems - Implement current and emerging technologies and methodologies within the simulation environment - Assist in managing simulation software projects to ensure timely delivery and adherence to objectives - Participate in peer reviews to ensure high code quality and share best practices - Advocate for continuous improvement by suggesting process enhancements and automation opportunities - Support proposal development and management, identifying necessary activities and resources - Mentor junior engineers while fostering a culture of innovation
