Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree
- Over 7 years of experience in software development
- At least 3 years in a software management or team leadership role
- Minimum 2 years managing software development teams and successfully delivering projects on schedule
- Strong comprehension of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) as well as Agile methodologies
Responsibilities
- Directs, develops, and inspires a multi-disciplined agile development team of 15-20 members working on engineering and technical tasks for mission systems, autonomy, and AI software solutions
- Supervises daily program activities for software development teams
- Collaborates with external vendors to create more effective solutions
- Secures resources necessary for the development teams requirements and advocates for process enhancements
- Cultivates and maintains strong relationships with customers, key stakeholders, peers, partners, and team members
- Identifies and develops new market opportunities while establishing clear product roadmaps
- Serves as the focal point for staffing within the Phantom Works Software organization
