Software Integration & Test Engineer

- Assist with on-site software installations, updates, and patch validation - Participate in system checkout and verification events - Confirm environment consistency between lab and field deployments - Reproduce field defects in lab settings for root cause analysis - Collect logs, telemetry, and system state data for diagnostics - Aid cybersecurity hardening and compliance validation initiatives - Collaborate closely with Integration & Test teams in St. Louis - Validate release packages before deployment - Maintain configuration consistency across lab and operational settings - Promote continuous improvement of deployment automation and DevSecOps pipelines - Develop test strategies, plans, procedures, and acceptance criteria for various testing levels - Design and implement verification & validation activities (functional, interface, performance, reliability, regression) - Analyze test outcomes, conduct root cause analyses, and propose corrective measures - Work collaboratively with software developers, system architects, and test engineers to ensure comprehensive functionality and mission success - Lead integration efforts of hardware, software, and mission systems in secure DoD environments, ensuring interoperability and mission assurance - Employ advanced DevSecOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and infrastructure as code, to enhance integration and testing processes - Set up, configure, and manage secure test environments utilizing cloud-native and virtualized resources (e.g., AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, or on-premise equivalents)
