Software Engineering Manager, Shared Services - Saint Charles

- Prioritize the growth and development of team members - Inspire and empower the team through effective communication and collaboration - Cultivate an inclusive workplace culture that values diverse perspectives - Ensure a psychologically safe environment for team members to discuss concerns regarding safety, quality, and scheduling - Guarantee compliance with Software Design Practices and quality processes as required by the program - Lead teams in Software Configuration & Release, Agile coaching, DevSecOps practices, and support for Internal Tools in Precision Engagement Systems - Formulate and implement service plans, policies, standards, and procedures that align with program objectives and BDS priorities - Develop and manage roadmaps for shared services, focusing on prioritization, capacity planning, SLAs, and measurable outcomes - Collaborate with program leads, system architects, product owners, and other stakeholders to meet operational and security requirements - Promote continuous improvement in software processes, automation, and release management across product lines - Track and report metrics and KPIs for service reliability and effectiveness; leverage data for informed decision-making - Oversee and approve technical strategies for shared services, ensuring alignment with best practices and compliance - Mentor and motivate technical leads and engineers, fostering a collaborative and accountable environment - Manage supplier and vendor relationships, ensuring performance meets contractual obligations and integrates effectively - Identify opportunities to mitigate program risks, optimize costs, and enhance delivery efficiency through process improvements
