Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 1 year of demonstrated leadership capabilities
- Bachelors degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science from an accredited institution
- Over 1 year of experience with real-time modeling and simulation or mission systems products
- 1+ years of experience utilizing Earned Value Management
- Familiarity with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
- Proven experience in leading teams, preferably software teams
Responsibilities
- Supervise employees and potentially oversee first-level managers engaged in software engineering and technical tasks
- Formulate and implement integrated departmental strategies, policies, and procedures while contributing to technical and business objectives
- Acquire necessary resources for departmental projects, manage supplier relationships, and drive process improvements
- Establish and nurture relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and team members
- Provide guidance, oversight, and approval on technical strategies, products, and processes
- Manage, mentor, and inspire team members
