Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in an engineering discipline or 2+ years of related experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with Java, Python, or Golang
- At least 2 years of experience in backend development (Java, Spring, Oracle SQL, SQL Server)
- 2+ years of experience with varying software development methodologies
Responsibilities
- Design and create software for Aircraft and/or Ground Systems utilizing real-time software architectures
- Assist in the development, documentation, and maintenance of software system architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs
- Support software development within agile teams for solution integration onto platforms
- Participate in creating use cases for software requirements
- Develop interface definitions
- Conduct unit and integration testing
- Engage in peer reviews
- Maintain and integrate code into a complete functional software system
- Use analytical skills to resolve issues for the company and suppliers
- Apply engineering expertise to enhance processes and tools
- Perform analysis using engineering principles
- Document engineering practices for scalability and improvements
- Provide technical guidance to junior engineers
