Requirements

Must:
- 5 years of experience in Development Operations (DevOps) - 5 years of experience utilizing GitLab, DevOps tools (ADO and/or AWS), and CI/CD pipelines, automation, and deployment - 5 years of experience with cloud-platform technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) - 5 years of experience with networking fundamentals (VPCs, subnets, routing, load balancers, DNS, etc.) - Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science (preferred) - 3 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (for Level 3) - 5 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (for Level 4) - Current certifications such as Azure Certified DevOps Engineer, CISSP, or Docker Certified Associate (preferred) - Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) - Experience with containerization and cloud orchestration tools (Tanzu, OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker) (preferred) - Knowledge in integrating security tools like SAST, DAST, and vulnerability scanners into CI/CD pipelines (preferred)

Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and uphold CI/CD pipelines for the automation of build, test, and deployment for both commercial and custom applications - Integrate DevSecOps tools to automate security checks and vulnerability assessments in the CI/CD pipeline - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, security, operations, and product groups to ensure security is integrated throughout the application lifecycle - Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior Software Developers and DevSecOps Engineers, encouraging best practices in automation, security, and cloud operations - Enhance operational security by establishing robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems - Participate in Agile SAFE ceremonies, contributing insights on security and automation best practices - Troubleshoot and resolve issues linked to CI/CD processes, security tools, and operational security - Provide training and support to teams regarding CI/CD, DevSecOps, and operational security best practices - Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory mandates through automated checks and controls - Document and maintain CI/CD workflows, security protocols, and operational procedures
