Requirements

Must:
- Minimum 4 years of software programming experience with C, C++, C#, .NET development and debugging - At least 2 years of Python programming experience - Bachelors degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science is preferred - 3 or more years of relevant work experience for Level 3 or equivalent education and experience - 5 or more years of relevant work experience for Level 4 or equivalent education and experience - 2 or more years of experience in programming with Rust - Active Security Clearance preferred - Experience with embedded software and hardware interfacing - Familiarity with software-interface boundaries across hardware, firmware, and software - Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently - Proficiency in Visual Studio software development - Familiarity with avionics and Ethernet communication protocols - Knowledge of Agile Methodology and Git - Experience with Continuous Integration and Cloud Computing technologies

Responsibilities

- Design and develop simulation models, visualizations, virtual environments, and frameworks to enhance software and hardware testing - Collaborate with stakeholders to determine simulation requirements and system dynamics - Conduct design, modeling, simulation, testing, and analysis to optimize overall system performance - Collect and process data for simulations - Validate and verify simulation software code, performing tests and documenting results against benchmarks - Maintain technical documentation for code, algorithms, and simulation models - Work with cross-functional teams to ensure integration of simulation software with hardware - Implement new technologies and methods in the simulation software environment - Update and modernize legacy simulation software for new operating systems - Perform project management functions for simulation software initiatives
