Requirements
Must:
- Must be able to obtain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance after starting
- Minimum of 2 years of programming experience in C, C++, Python, and/or shell scripting
- Familiarity with LINUX or Windows operating systems
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science is preferred
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience or a suitable combination of education and experience is desired
- Background in missile defense sensor algorithms or digital signal processing algorithms is advantageous
- Knowledge of Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment practices is beneficial
- Experience with implementing and upholding DevSecOps practices is a plus
- Prior knowledge of real-time operating systems, such as VxWorks, is favorable
- Some exposure to telemetry protocols and testing is helpful
- Involvement in software projects featuring models, simulations, or control systems is appreciated
Responsibilities
- Design, document, and maintain architecture, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and software product designs
- Produce, test, and sustain software solutions for PAC-3 systems
- Create technical products, plans, documentation, and presentations to support program needs
- Collaborate within small agile teams with diverse engineering expertise
- Identify, debug, and resolve issues to guarantee the reliability and efficiency of software products
