Requirements
Must:
- 3 years of professional experience with languages such as C, C++, C#, Python, Java, or Ada
- 3 years of experience in software lifecycle execution and troubleshooting
- 3 years working with Python and familiarity with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch)
- 3 years of experience in Agile software development
- Bachelors degree with 2 years of relevant experience or a Masters degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Statistics preferred
- Practical experience with advanced models in generative AI, computer vision, and natural language processing
- Expertise in end-to-end machine learning workflows, including data pipelines, training, evaluation, and MLOps
- Experience in new product development within small, agile teams on dynamic, customer-funded programs
- Current or previous highest level U.S. security clearance within the last 24 months
- Proven ability to develop embedded real-time software
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders

Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance software testing tools for the Open Mission Systems (OMS) software architecture
- Design, implement, and optimize AI/ML models and computer vision algorithms to support automated testing of avionic Pilot/Vehicle Interfaces (PVI)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and implement requirements and feedback for testing tools
- Collect, clean, preprocess, and analyze extensive datasets to ensure data quality and reliability while identifying patterns and insights
- Create and implement innovative avionics software testing frameworks and tools to ensure technical excellence and quality
- Conduct Safety Risk Management processes for software models adhering to organizational standards
- Research and apply current and emerging AI/ML and computer vision technologies, tools, and frameworks relevant to the engineering industry
