Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance, requiring U.S. Citizenship
- 3 years of professional experience with C, C++, C#, Python, Java, or Ada
- 3 years of experience in the Software and Test Development lifecycle
- 3 years of experience with Python, ML Ops, and Data Ops frameworks
- 3 years of experience working in Agile teams and Agile Software Development
- Hands-on experience with advanced models such as generative AI, computer vision, and NLP (preferred)
- Experience with end-to-end ML workflows including data pipelines, training, evaluation, and deployment/MLOps (preferred)
- Experience developing embedded real-time software (preferred)
- Ability to collaborate effectively in team settings and engage with diverse stakeholders (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance software test tools essential for implementing Open Mission Systems (OMS) software architecture
- Design, execute, and refine AI/ML models and Computer Vision algorithms for automated testing of avionic Pilot/Vehicle Interfaces (PVI)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and feedback for developing testing tools
- Collect, preprocess, and analyze large data sets to ensure data quality, reliability, and extract insights
- Create and implement innovative avionics software testing frameworks and tools to uphold quality and technical excellence
- Conduct Safety Risk Management for software models per organizational standards
- Research and adopt current and emerging AI/ML and Computer Vision technologies within the engineering sector
