Software Configuration Management Specialist

- Facilitate the Change Control Board (CCB) process for software management: organize CCB meetings, set agendas, take minutes, track action items, and ensure thorough review and approval of changes prior to execution. - Create and sustain program Configuration Management (CM) documentation: CM plans, product identification frameworks, baselines, and traceability records. - Prepare, process, and manage change documentation, including Engineering Change Proposals (ECP), Requests for Variance (RFV), and related approvals. - Supervise software build and release operations: plan, schedule, coordinate, and execute builds and deployments while optimizing processes to reduce errors and turnaround time. - Oversee version control processes, repository management, CI/CD pipelines, and build environments to resolve inconsistencies and release failures. - Conduct configuration audits and verifications to ensure accuracy of product/document baselines. - Evaluate prime and supplier contract Configuration Management requirements and oversee supplier change management processes. - Assist with determining export authority for technical work products and collaborate in industry quality audits for Configuration Management. - Work in partnership with customers and cross-functional teams to synchronize release schedules and program-level CM activities. - Promote continuous improvement in CM practices, tools, and performance metrics.
