Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 9 years of relevant experience in software system design
- At least 5 years of expertise in UX/UI design using Figma or similar design tools
- Proven leadership in the complete product design lifecycle from research to usability testing
- Bachelors degree in engineering, technology, mathematics, data science, computer science, or a related field (preferred)
- 14+ years of experience in software system design for Level 5 role (preferred)
- 7+ years of UX/UI design experience for Level 5 role (preferred)
- Experience in designing enterprise SaaS applications (preferred)
- Track record of successful product launches and adoptions (preferred)
- Background in aerospace and defense (preferred)
- Familiarity with analytics dashboard design (preferred)
- Understanding of Human Centered Design best practices (preferred)
- Experience with AI/ML technologies (preferred)
- Ability to lead collaboration across user communities and stakeholders (preferred)
- Knowledge of software product specification and change control processes (preferred)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills (preferred)
- Familiar with software development processes within a compliance-driven environment (preferred)
- Deep knowledge of contemporary web development technologies (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Oversee the user experience and design process for data analytics solutions to meet user and business objectives
- Conduct user research, interviews, usability testing, and data analysis to inform design strategies
- Create and manage a product design framework using Figma libraries and documentation to ensure consistent and accessible UI
- Design high-fidelity prototypes and wireframes using Figma or similar design tools
- Develop specifications and guidelines for product design consistency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and engineers, to incorporate user feedback into development
- Organize and execute usability testing sessions to validate design features
- Produce user documentation and training materials to assist with product launches
- Mentor junior team members and promote a design-thinking culture within the team
- Remain informed about emerging technologies and trends in data analytics and AI/ML solutions
