Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or equivalent
- Minimum of 14 years of relevant work experience or a combination of education and experience
- Active DoD Security Clearance (preferred)
- Proficient in engineering processes and principles
- Knowledge of system architecture, requirements, and interface definition
- Experience in systems development and integration
- Familiarity with modeling or simulation of systems
- Experience with systems engineering tools (e.g. Earned Value Management, DOORs, CAMEO)
- Background in Model Based Engineering or Model Based Systems Engineering
- Experience in design, electrical, software engineering, or analysis
- Leadership experience in projects or team environments
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate a team of 3-10 members across multiple organizations
- Assess technical performance of systems and influence product direction
- Align system development with customer needs through integrated program planning
- Track key performance metrics throughout the program lifecycle
- Manage system risks and maturity by regularly evaluating system status
- Mentor junior and transitioning engineers in the Systems Engineering discipline
- Collaborate with experts to improve engineering processes
- Support programs related to Direct Attack weapons used on military aircraft and ground platforms
