Requirements
Must:
- Ability to obtain U.S. Secret security clearance
- 8 years of experience in developing Software Test Plans (STP), Software Test Descriptions (STD), and Software Test Reports (STR)
- 5 years of experience scripting in Python
- 3 years of experience with Quality Automation Tools (e.g., Selenium, Cucumber, LoadRunner)
- Experience with Ethernet Network Data Buses
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science (preferred)
- 1 year of experience with MIL-STD-1553 and/or MIL-STD-1760 communication protocols (preferred)
- Active Secret Clearance (preferred)
- Familiarity with hardware and network architecture in server and client environments (preferred)
- Familiarity with military aircraft flightline operations (preferred)
- C# experience or knowledge of Ranorex for automated testing (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain effective Python scripts
- Utilize Cucumber/Gherkin for behavior-driven development to produce clear and precise test scenarios
- Employ tools like Git, Jira, or equivalent for version control and project management
- Design, apply, and execute thorough testing solutions using test frameworks
- Create, schedule, and implement testing cycles
- Analyze program requirements to formulate new, effective test cases ensuring comprehensive functionality coverage
- Document software defects with relevant details for analysis (environment info, data logs, etc.)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software engineers, systems engineers, and hardware engineers
