Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent relevant experience (22 years related work experience)
- Over 10 years of programming experience in C, C++, or C#
- More than 10 years of experience with Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS)
- At least 10 years of experience in software configuration management
- Over 10 years of experience using agile methodologies
- More than 10 years of experience in signal processing or image processing
Responsibilities
- Directs the design, development, analysis, and maintenance of software systems that fulfill industry and internal standards for quality, safety, and certification
- Collaborates with relevant stakeholders to refine system definitions and convert system-level requirements into software specifications with clear traceability
- Manages software system-level analyses to pinpoint risks, issues, and opportunities and implements mitigation strategies throughout the software lifecycle
- Conducts code reviews to ensure compliance with requirements and standards
- Monitors and assesses testing processes, verification, and issue resolution for software systems
- Reviews products and processes for alignment with project objectives and industry standards, advising on evaluation of internal and supplier performance
- Investigates and supervises the adoption of contemporary and emerging technologies and tools relevant to software development
- Manages software project and supplier management activities
