Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or a related field
- 5 years of experience in requirements management and decomposition
- 5 years of experience in software integration, testing, validation, and verification
- 5 years of experience in test automation and scripting
- Familiarity with engineering tools like DOORS, MBSE, and collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Strong analytical, systems thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with mission systems, avionics, embedded systems, or similar defense/space programs
- Knowledge of certification and compliance frameworks (FAA, DoD, NASA, etc.)
- Experience with cloud, container, and CI/CD test infrastructure like Docker/Kubernetes and AWS
- Advanced degree in Systems Engineering or a related field is preferred
Responsibilities
- Review, develop, document, and maintain system requirements throughout the lifecycle
- Define testing strategies, plans, procedures, and acceptance criteria for various testing levels
- Design and conduct verification and validation activities including functional and performance tests
- Analyze test outcomes and conduct root cause analyses to recommend improvements
- Collaborate across engineering teams, including software developers and test engineers, to ensure functionality
- Lead the integration of hardware, software, and mission systems in secure environments
- Apply DevSecOps practices to enhance integration and testing processes
- Set up and maintain secure test environments using cloud-native resources
- Utilize model-based systems engineering and requirements management tools for design support
- Contribute to risk management and report on technical readiness
- Promote continuous improvement in integration and test processes to enhance efficiency
- Document integration outcomes and testing findings for reviews and customer deliverables
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership across projects when applicable
