Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors Degree - 14 years of experience in software and system architecture design - 14 years of experience leading software and systems development and design activities - 14 years of experience creating solutions for open architecture environments - Knowledge in deriving and allocating requirements ensuring traceability throughout the product lifecycle - Familiarity with software architecture and design methodologies - Expertise in synthesizing software architectures and designs to meet requirements, characteristics, and constraints - Understanding of software development processes compliant with internal and industry standards - Proficient in general and software development testing tools, including compilers, linkers, debuggers, and data analysis tools - Knowledge of software-affecting domains and their constraints - Understanding of implementation, validation, and verification processes to ensure software quality, performance, and safety

Responsibilities

- Oversee the complete software lifecycle for AMS products while ensuring adherence to industry, customer, safety, and regulatory standards - Lead the analysis, architecture definition, and design reviews of AMS software solutions - Direct the development, integration, testing, and maintenance of AMS software and associated documentation - Encourage the integration of new technologies, tools, and frameworks to enhance AMS capabilities - Resolve issues effectively, optimize processes, and promote continuous improvement of AMS software products - Facilitate interactions with adopting platforms, assisting in implementation reviews and resolving adoption challenges - Advocate for the needs of adopting platforms within the AMS consortium to ensure their concerns are integrated into product development - Act as a bridge between adopting platform teams and AMS development teams to ensure successful integration - Provide innovative technical solutions for complex multi-domain problems - Initiate and manage studies, experiments, and simulation testing to refine AMS capabilities and close gaps - Promote modern DevSecOps, Agile, and MBSE methodologies to streamline development and integration cycles - Make significant technical decisions that impact major program success and organizational objectives - Ensure AMS products are delivered with non-proprietary data rights and comprehensively documented for third-party integration - Lead and mentor multidisciplinary teams inclusive of internal Boeing staff and external partners - Coordinate efforts across collaborative tasks to align priorities, milestones, and roadmaps - Represent Boeing and AMS in technical reviews and presentations to customers and industry partners
