Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 3 years experience managing Linux systems
- At least 3 years of experience with Kubernetes EKS or RKE2 deployments
- 3 years of experience in AWS cloud development and containerization
- Proficiency in programming or scripting languages such as Java or C++ and Python
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science is preferred
- Capability to establish and oversee toolchains utilizing GitLab, GitLab-CI, Gradle, Maven, Nexus/Artifactory, SonarQube, Prometheus, FluentBit, CloudWatch, Helm, Terraform, Ansible, OpenShift, Docker, and others
- Preferred AWS Certification
- Knowledge in containerization technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Rancher, and Istio
- Understanding of full stack/Microservice infrastructure, secure software development methodologies, and cloud architecture
- Strong familiarity with CI/CD processes including debugging, testing, and integrating software tools
- Experience with software development and testing tools such as compilers, linkers, debuggers, and requirements management tools
- Familiarity with Confluence and Jira
Responsibilities
- Oversee the design, development, testing, and validation of E-7A software engineering tools
- Enhance and manage our DevSecOps practices across various environments
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate solutions for software development
- Provide user support and troubleshooting assistance to software development teams using specific program-defined pipeline configurations
- Monitor and sustain the functionality of software development environments and tools
- Engage in peer reviews and offer technical guidance to junior engineers
- Apply analytical problem-solving skills to address issues and refine processes and tools
