Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors Degree - Minimum 7 years of experience with C, C++, C#, Java, or Python - At least 6 years of experience in software architecture with an emphasis on cloud solutions and DevOps methodologies - A minimum of 5 years in automated provisioning and configuring software-defined infrastructure designed for continuous deployment and operations - At least 3 years of understanding CI/CD tools (e.g., Gitlab, Jenkins) and practices, alongside automation frameworks and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) - 3 years of experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) - Strong familiarity with Agile software development processes - Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in DevSecOps - Awareness of cybersecurity policies and regulations, with the ability to create solutions across these domains - Experience with secure software development in varied security levels - Proficiency in Linux

Responsibilities

- Lead the development and management of the software development environment roadmap and vision - Oversee the deployment and configuration of technologies and tools utilized in software development, including build servers, version control systems, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks - Establish, configure, and maintain Mission Systems (MS) software development environments across various networks, ensuring all necessary tools for software development, building, and releasing are available - Manage and maintain both cloud-based and on-premise infrastructures - Create and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation to optimize infrastructure administration and software deployment - Ensure compliance and policy enforcement in alignment with applicable design practices and industry standards - Develop best practices/methodologies for provisioning, platform scaling, configuration management, monitoring, and troubleshooting - Administer and maintain software development tools, including version upgrades, patch management, and tool integration (Jira, Gitlab, Artifactory, Confluence, SonarQube, etc) - Mentor and guide junior teammates and development teams on DevSecOps best practices, promoting a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning - Collaborate closely with the Mission Systems solution team, the Digital Engineering Environment team, and the Boeing Software Factory Enterprise team
