Requirements
Must:
- Over 8 years of experience in DevSecOps
- At least 5 years of experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Gitlab
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Agile Software Development
- Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry from an accredited institution (preferred)
- Familiarity with Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure (preferred)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (preferred)
- Proficiency in Linux (preferred)
- Capability to acquire Security+ certification (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Directs the implementation and setup of technologies and tools for software development, including build servers, version control systems, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks
- Oversees the administration and upkeep of AWS or Microsoft Azure cloud and on-premises infrastructures
- Manages the creation and upkeep of Infrastructure as Code, Ansible, and other scripts to streamline infrastructure management and software deployment
- Organizes and sustains development and production environments, including application device deployment
- Establishes and upholds best practices for provisioning, platform scaling, configuration management, monitoring, and troubleshooting
- Supplies delivery teams with information to meet service level indicators, service level objectives, service level agreements, key performance indicators, and error budgets
- Administrates and maintains software development tools, including version upgrades, patch management, and tool integration (e.g., Jira, Gitlab, Artifactory, Confluence, SonarQube)
- Defines, gathers, analyzes, and refines key performance metrics for software delivery and team performance
- Leads presentations and monitors progress to provide updates to customers and management
- Implements process improvement solutions
- Guides and mentors junior team members and development teams on DevSecOps best practices, fostering a knowledge-sharing culture
- Drives initiatives aimed at enhancing the quality and frequency of end-to-end system software deployment
