Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering
- Over 6 years of experience programming in C++ or Java
- More than 6 years of experience working with agile teams and in agile software development
- At least 6 years of involvement with the Software/Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Capability to obtain a Secret U.S. Security clearance post-start and access Special Access Programs
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain non-embedded software throughout its entire lifecycle to meet industry, customer, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Review, analyze, and convert customer requirements into initial software product designs.
- Develop, maintain, enhance, and optimize software functions for system integrations.
- Document and maintain architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs for software products.
- Troubleshoot and resolve identified issues to ensure software reliability and efficiency.
- Address user inquiries, troubleshoot technical problems, and analyze user feedback.
- Implement current and upcoming technologies, tools, frameworks, and regulatory changes relevant to software development.
- Develop, establish, monitor, and enhance software processes, tools, and key performance metrics aligning projects with organizational objectives and industry standards.
- Execute and document research and development projects related to software.
- Offer guidance on software domains, system-specific challenges, processes, and regulations.
- Engage in software project management activities and supplier management functions.
- Track and assess software team and supplier performance to ensure compliance with project plans and industry benchmarks.
