Requirements
Must:
- Level 3: 5+ years of relevant work experience or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
- Level 4: 9+ years of relevant work experience or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or non-U.S. equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.
- Experience working in a function or program environment.
- Proven project management skills and ability to independently manage projects.
- Commitment to working in a collaborative setting and effectively interacting with various leadership levels and front-line employees.
- Self-directed with the ability to achieve goals independently.
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance and training on complex safety and airworthiness issues.
- Lead and mentor the Safety Management System (SMS) team and BGS teams operationalizing SMS Board structure.
- Guide BGS teams through the Safety Risk Management (SRM) process to manage critical business risks.
- Implement Safety Assurance (SA) measures with BGS teams as they identify and monitor ineffective risk controls.
- Oversee a portfolio of product safety reports within the Speak Up / ASATS system.
- Train members of the BGS Digital Services team on applying SMS in their roles.
- Integrate lessons learned with other Business Unit SMS teams to enhance best practices.
- Communicate and engage with all employee levels from Senior Executive to working teams to promote and implement SMS.
- Collaborate with external entities regarding SMS, including airline customers, regulators, suppliers, and others.
- Partner with BCA on SMS and associated processes.
- Familiarity with software development and Digital Services product portfolios is a plus.

Our pay structure is based on experience and qualifications, with a range from $114,750 to $190,900 depending on the level.
