Requirements
Must:
- 4 years of hands-on experience in writing C++ software for integration with real-time embedded systems
- 4 years of experience with Vehicle Health Management
- 4 years of experience in training, mentoring, and advising junior software engineers throughout the entire software development lifecycle
- 4 years of experience on projects utilizing various software development methodologies
- Proven ability to lead complex projects involving multiple teams of engineers
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, testing, and maintenance of embedded software through its complete lifecycle, ensuring industry and customer standards are met
- Review, analyze, and translate customer requirements into initial software design
- Develop, maintain, enhance, and optimize software functionalities for systems integration
- Create, document, and maintain architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs for software products
- Debug and resolve issues to ensure software reliability and efficiency
- Address user inquiries and troubleshoot technical issues while analyzing user feedback
- Implement current and emerging technologies and frameworks relevant to software development
- Establish and enhance software processes, tools, and performance metrics aligned with organizational objectives
- Plan, execute, and document software research and development projects
- Advise on software domains, system-specific issues, processes, and regulations
- Manage software project activities and supplier management functions
- Monitor software team and supplier performance to ensure compliance with project plans and industry standards
