Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience writing C++ software for real-time embedded systems
- At least 4 years of experience in Vehicle Health Management
- Over 4 years of experience in training, mentoring, and guiding junior software engineers through the software development lifecycle
- 4+ years of experience working on projects employing various software development methodologies
- Proven ability to lead intricate projects across diverse engineering teams
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, testing, and upkeep of embedded software throughout its entire lifecycle to adhere to industry, customer, safety, and regulatory standards
- Review, analyze, and convert customer requirements into the software products initial design
- Develop, maintain, enhance, and optimize software products for system integrations
- Create, document, and sustain software product architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues to ensure software product reliability and efficiency
- Address user queries and analyze technical issues and user feedback
- Implement current and emerging technologies, tools, frameworks, and relevant regulatory changes for software development
- Establish, monitor, and enhance software processes, tools, and performance metrics aligning with organizational goals
- Plan, carry out, and document software research and development initiatives
- Provide guidance on software domains, specific system issues, processes, and regulations
- Manage software projects and software supplier relations
- Track and assess software team and supplier performance for compliance with project plans and industry standards
