Requirements
Must:
- Ability to acquire a U.S. Security Clearance; U.S. Citizenship required for eligibility
- Capability to obtain program access; U.S. Citizenship required
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or equivalent qualifications pertinent to the role
- Over 15 years of experience in RF measurements, Antenna Theory/Test, and/or material measurements and characterization
Responsibilities
- Set up, configure, troubleshoot, repair, and operate RF electronics and laboratory test equipment
- Manage layout, setup, and termination of wiring and connectors
- Interpret and execute electrical and wiring plans
- Choose and install antennas based on requirements
- Collaborate with data acquisition systems
- Conduct and document tests on products, systems, components, and technologies
- Design, build, and implement test systems, components, software, and methodologies
- Prepare for system tests by coordinating system integration, fabrication, modifications, setup, checkout, and teardown with stakeholders
- Execute tests, analyze data, and document results; lead test readiness reviews
- Organize range activities, including maintenance and repairs
- Operate forklift and bucket truck/lift vehicles
- Coordinate shipment and receipt of supplies and equipment
- Work with airport operations and maintenance/grounds-keeping when necessary
- Liaise with Global Spectrum Management for outdoor RF transmission
- Maintain the Outdoor Antenna Range test facility, including towers, outbuildings, and grounds
