Requirements
Must:
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or equivalent qualifications related to the role
- Over 5 years of experience managing managers, showcasing leadership across multiple management levels
- More than 5 years of expertise in software engineering, quality assurance, or similar fields with progressive leadership roles
- At least 5 years of experience influencing executive decisions, shaping company policy, and achieving measurable enterprise enhancements
- Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated executive presence with outstanding written and verbal communication skills; capable of influencing senior leaders and leading high-stakes discussions
- Over 5 years of experience managing substantial budgets, multi-program resource planning, and engaging with senior stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of managers and employees focused on software quality engineering
- Define and implement organizational plans, policies, and strategies that ensure software quality, safety, and adherence to compliance across the Companys products
- Guide the formulation of long-term business and technical strategies; influence organizational policies regarding budgets, resource allocation, and risk management
- Oversee and validate enterprise-scale verification methods, qualification strategies, and lifecycle processes for critical safety and mission systems
- Ensure that supplier ecosystems and technical partners adhere to organizational quality standards; manage high-level supplier performance and escalations
- Spearhead important continuous improvement initiatives such as value stream assessments, enterprise automation strategies, and cross-program defect reductions
- Act as the main point of contact with senior executives, customers, and external stakeholders on significant organizational matters
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for software quality, delivery risk, and compliance; ensure that achievable budgets and timelines are established and adhered to
