Requirements
Must:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or equivalent non-US qualifications directly related to the role
- Level 3: Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience or a suitable combination of education and experience
- Level 4: Minimum of 9 years of relevant work experience or a suitable combination of education and experience
- Proficiency with Model Based Engineering tools and languages such as Enterprise Architecture, Cameo, MagicDraw, UML/SysML, 3DX, CATIA
- Experience in system security engineering or systems engineering
- Background in analyzing requirements, architecture, design, and product design
- Preferred: Accredited degree or certificate in Systems Engineering focused on Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
- Experience in Airplane System Development, Product Security, Cybersecurity, or Systems Security Engineering
- Proven performance in systems, systems security, or software engineering across engineering or operational lifecycles
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with Model Based Engineering languages and frameworks such as UAF, DoDAF, MODAF, AADL, UPDM etc.
- Knowledge of formal semantics and semantic modeling languages and frameworks like RDF, OWL, SPARQL, and TTL
- Understanding of various standards including DFARS Clause, CNSSI 1253, DOD 8570, NIST 800-160, NIST 800-53 (and 53A), NIST 800-30, NIST 800-171, NIST 800-55, NIST 800-137, NIST 800-39
Responsibilities
- Design, create, test, and launch new Digital Engineering features and capabilities for Boeing Commercial Airplanes Product Security Engineering department
- Ensure quality maintenance of the MBSec Solution Kit (SK) models, processes, and templates
- Oversee PSE Digital Engineering project access control, manage permissions, and assist in implementing relevant Access Control Policies
- Collaborate with PSE Enterprise, MBSec Technical Lead, Development Lead, and Scrum-Master to define and carry out releases of the MBSec SK as per the technical roadmap
- Work with the MBSec Development Lead and Scrum-Master to identify and incorporate new features aligned with the PSE Digital Engineering technical roadmap
- Team up with the PSE Engineering Integration Lead to synchronize the MBSec SK and other PSE Digital Engineering tools with existing enterprise and BCA engineering capabilities
- Participate in peer and technical reviews concerning PSE Digital Engineering capabilities and features
- Manage MBSec deployment and implementation across various BCA programs supporting Product Security Engineering
- Create and establish training materials, courses, and pathways for PSE Digital Engineering tools and capabilities
- Educate and instruct PSEs from across the organization in utilizing PSE Digital Engineering tools and capabilities
- Contribute to the Enterprise PSE community focused on Model Based Solution Kits and Design Practices
- Utilize agile methodologies to plan and execute team tasks
- Define and develop the technical capabilities roadmap for PSE Digital Engineering
