Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance, requiring U.S. Citizenship
- 9 years of programming experience in languages such as C, C++, C#, Python, Java, or Ada
- 6 years of experience working within Agile teams, using methodologies and tools like Jira
- 6 years of professional experience in Defense/Aerospace or with DevSecOps technologies
- Capacity to operate in a multitasking environment while managing multiple initiatives
- Proficient in collaborating within teams and providing mentorship to junior engineers
- Strong skills in roadmapping, documentation, and clear communication
- Expertise in various DevSecOps tools and technologies such as AWS, Azure, Terraform, and GitLab CI
Responsibilities
- Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve complex engineering challenges
- Develop, maintain, and integrate code and software components into a cohesive system
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to eliminate technical barriers and facilitate product development
- Document project roadmaps, plans, and technical requirements to meet objectives
- Provide coaching to junior software engineers on industry best practices
- Participate in an agile team setting to achieve collective goals
- Execute and document software research and development projects
- Operate under general direction while fulfilling tasks effectively
