Senior Network Engineer - Millennium Space Systems

- Proven expertise in designing, planning, and implementing secure and scalable network architectures, including LAN, WAN, wireless, and cloud solutions - Proficient in managing network security elements, including firewall configurations and intrusion detection/prevention systems - Experienced in deploying network hardware and software such as routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers - Capable of ensuring network resilience and executing disaster recovery and business continuity strategies - Skilled in developing and maintaining thorough network documentation, including diagrams and policies - Knowledgeable about multi-vendor switching and routing technologies (e.g., Juniper, Cisco, Dell) - Proficient in various routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF) - Extensive familiarity with firewall technology (e.g., Palo Alto, Cisco ASA) - Experience with VPN deployment and maintenance (e.g., IPsec, SSL VPN, Azure ExpressRoute) - Strong understanding of switching technologies (e.g., Layer 2/Layer 3, VLANs, STP) - Experience with network management and automation tools (e.g., Panorama, Mist, Apstra) - Holds a DoD 8140 Level 2 Certification (such as Security+ CE or equivalent) - Bachelors degree in a technical field such as engineering or computer science, or at least ten years of relevant work experience - Must possess an active U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required)
