Senior Manager, System Engineer - Applicant Integration

- Oversee employees and first-level managers engaged in engineering and technical tasks related to Systems Engineering and Airworthiness Certification. - Formulate and implement integrated departmental plans, policies, and procedures; contribute to departmental business strategies and objectives. - Secure resources for departmental operations, manage supplier relationships, and drive process enhancements. - Establish and nurture relationships with customers, stakeholders, colleagues, and direct reports. - Review and approve technical methodologies, products, and processes; guide the development and motivation of employees and first-level managers. - Ensure the implementation of Safety Assurance processes for monitoring performance and facilitating continuous improvement. - Strengthen the Applicant role and enhance compliance measures. - Facilitate functional or supplier problem-solving teams. - Lead Certification and Airworthiness Integration across BDS and interdependent SAW. - Advocate for accountability and compliance with FAA, International, and U.S. Military Airworthiness Authorities across BDS and interdependent SAW organizations. - Collaborate with BDS project teams to identify E-UM and/or CVE requirements essential for project execution. - Provide oversight and advocacy through Applicant Functional Excellence Review, NPRM, MOCs, issue papers, and other regulatory documents as Boeings representative. - Work alongside engineering leadership and program managers to foster a culture of sound compliance and safety judgment. - Support an environment that mitigates regulatory conflicts and undue pressure. - Deliver compliance oversight leadership, tools, command media, and training to enhance Applicant compliance and execution.
