Requirements
Must:
- Bachelor of Science degree or higher in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, electrical engineering, chemistry, or a related technical field.
- Level 3: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelors degree, or 3 years with a Masters or PhD.
- At least 2 years of experience in Systems Engineering within the Mission Systems domain, including aircraft modifications and systems integration.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a leadership role overseeing teams or projects.
- Preferred Level 4: 9 or more years of relevant experience with a Bachelors, 7 years with a Masters, or 4 years with a PhD.
- Familiarity with OMS and GRA implementations, system architecture, and requirement generation at the system and subsystem levels.
- Experience with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) process.
- Proficient in tools such as Jira, Confluence, GitLab, and DOORS.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
- Active current U.S. Secret Security Clearance (active within the last 24 months) and investigation date within the past 5 years.
Responsibilities
- Integrate and develop applications, containers, and skills across various F/A-18 and EA-18 contracts to advance warfighter capabilities.
- Collaborate with external clients and internal teams to manage and implement complex hardware-software integration in an agile setting.
- Gather, analyze, and organize technical execution and resource data for program management purposes.
- Facilitate effective communication across teams and at different levels of technical leadership.
- Evaluate customer requests considering contractual and technical implications and work to translate them into program and system requirements.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure adherence to established requirements.
- Provide support and resolve issues related to deployed hardware and software throughout the entire product life cycle.
- Demonstrate proactivity in understanding product systems and leverage systems thinking to enhance performance with initial quality.
- Offer technical guidance and on-the-job training for junior engineers.
- Expect to be on-site 100% of the time at the designated location.
