Requirements
Must:
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science from an accredited institution.
- Over 10 years of experience in an electrical design engineering environment, focusing on electronic and electrical systems design and analysis.
- Experience with hardware and software design for Electrical Systems.
- Knowledge of FAA certification processes.
- Familiarity with system design and integration in airplane development programs.
- Experience with Model Based Development tools.
Responsibilities
- Develop and document requirements for electronic and electrical systems.
- Create design specifications for hardware, software, and interfaces.
- Conduct tests and validations to ensure designs meet operational and functional needs.
- Monitor supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with standards.
- Ensure adherence to regulations and certification requirements like ARP4754A, DO-178, and DO-254.
- Address issues related to fielded hardware and software throughout the product lifecycle.
- Investigate technological advancements for potential applications in business and customer needs.
