Requirements

Must:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or equivalent - Over 5 years of experience in developing full stack applications using modern frameworks - Strong skills in systems thinking and designing comprehensive software solutions - Proficient in programming languages such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, C#, or Go - Experience deploying and managing applications in cloud environments (Azure and/or AWS) - Practical knowledge of infrastructure as code tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM, or Bicep - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Docker, and Linux - Experience working with relational databases, including schema design considerations - Awareness of security best practices, including IAM and network controls

Responsibilities

- Develop full stack applications that enhance test and evaluation workflows and boost engineering efficiency - Transform complex engineering challenges into clear digital solutions, prioritizing usability and performance - Create both frontend and backend services utilizing modern frameworks (e.g., React, Node.js, Python, .NET) - Design and implement APIs that facilitate integration across various systems and platforms - Architect comprehensive systems that connect applications, data services, and cloud infrastructure - Assess and choose cloud services (AWS and Azure) based on factors like cost and scalability - Implement infrastructure deployment using code for secure and repeatable processes - Create solutions that adapt to multi-cloud and hybrid environments as needed - Design data models that support both transactional and analytical systems - Build data services that help engineers access and reuse test data efficiently - Work with data scientists to support analytics and ML workflows while minimizing user complexity - Develop CI/CD pipelines for rapid application testing and deployment - Apply Site Reliability Engineering principles to ensure system reliability and operational excellence - Maintain monitoring capabilities to facilitate system diagnostics and performance enhancements - Collaborate with security teams to meet data governance and compliance standards - Contribute to operational documentation and continuous improvement initiatives - Engage with engineers and stakeholders to define digital product roadmaps and technical goals - Influence architectural decisions through systems thinking and engineering insight - Collaborate within the Digital Engineering community to share knowledge and best practices
