Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in a relevant field
- Over 7 years of experience with programming languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, or Python
- Minimum 6 years of expertise in software architecture, focusing on cloud solutions and DevOps practices
- At least 5 years in automated provisioning and the configuration of software-defined infrastructure with an emphasis on continuous deployment and operations
- A minimum of 3 years of familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Gitlab, Jenkins) and automation frameworks, as well as infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Over 3 years of experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and oversight of the software development environment roadmap and strategy
- Oversee the deployment and configuration of technologies and tools in the software development lifecycle, including build servers, version control systems, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks
- Establish, configure, and maintain MS software development environments across various networks, including necessary tools for software development, building, and releasing
- Manage and maintain both cloud-based and on-premises infrastructures
- Create and uphold Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation to streamline infrastructure administration and software deployment
- Ensure adherence to compliance requirements and policy enforcement for relevant design practices and industry standards
- Develop best practices and methodologies for provisioning, scaling platforms, configuration management, monitoring, and troubleshooting
- Administer software development tools, including maintenance, version upgrades, patch management, and tool integration (Jira, Gitlab, Artifactory, Confluence, SonarQube, etc.)
- Mentor and guide junior team members and other development teams in DevSecOps best practices, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning
- Coordinate efforts across the Mission Systems solution team, Digital Engineering Environment team, and the Boeing Software Factory Enterprise team
