Requirements
Must:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or equivalent qualifications relevant to the role
- Reside in or be willing to relocate to the St. Louis, Missouri area
- 5+ years of related experience for Level 3, or 9+ years for Level 4, or a blend of experience and technical education
- Familiarity with the Aerospace Industry
- Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills with a proven ability to work within teams
- Background in design/build or testing environments
- Experience in creating, developing, or managing engineering processes
- Knowledge of electronic/electrical system design or test plan development based on requirements
- Proficient understanding of data structures, system design, and architecture
Responsibilities
- Apply job practices, techniques, standards, principles, theories, and concepts effectively
- Generate, document, and sustain electronic and electrical system requirements according to contract specifications and customer insights
- Create statements of work and technical performance specifications
- Analyze, convert, and execute customer requirements into system architecture, hardware, and software designs while ensuring traceability throughout the product lifecycle
- Define testing and validation strategies to confirm system designs meet operational and functional criteria
- Resolve product integration challenges and production discrepancies
- Explore emerging technologies to generate concepts for prospective product designs aligned with future demands and internal strategies
- Oversee supplier performance to guarantee system integrity and adherence to requirements
- Design and document intricate electronic and electrical system requirements
- Develop hardware, software, and interface specifications
- Address issues related to fielded hardware and software throughout the product lifecycle
